Cheaper Than Therapy Right?

Why now? Blogging is so done, dated, passé right? Maybe....who knows? I know a few that blog, I know a lot that don't. It can be personal, a public diary for all to read. It can be funny, allowing us to laugh together at things that might 'irk' us the wrong way. It can be political, a way for us to use public media in hopes of enlightening those around us. Basically it's free speech, plain and simple. It's just now it's easier than finding the perfect soap box to stand on. So......now what? What to say? What to write? Who the hell will read it, and why the hell would they want to? To be honest, I doubt anyone will read this, but hey...it's cheaper than going to therapy right? I once had a close friend ask my permission to use some of my personal life stories for future work in her industry. Stories she could use for a monologue or ideas for a tv show as an actress. Why would she ask me for these stories? Because for some odd, twisted reason, my life is made up of 'pretty little mistakes'. These stories are great for awkward moments at a dinner party or when people need cheering up. "Hey tell us the story about that date last week!" Oh that one is easy. "What ever happened to that guy......what's his name?" That one is easy too. "Remember the time you were dressed as a pirate on Halloween, only to have Wilma and Betty at your house party tell you that recent ex boyfriend is now engaged after dating the 'new girl' for 3 months?!? Tell us that one!" Ya, that's a good one too. Actually how can I forget that one....went through a full carton of eggs that night. So maybe this is my way of getting it out there, off my chest and out of my brain. Or...maybe I'm just making it easier on my friend The Actress, and documenting this for her as reference for when she makes it BIG.
